DO YOU ALLOW PETS?

Except for medical assistance animals, pets are not permitted on the premises. This policy is strictly enforced, and guests will be asked to board their pet(s) at a kennel.

IS THERE IN-SUITE LAUNDRY?

We do not have in-suite laundry; however, coin operated washers and dryers are located on the 3rd floor of Carmana Plaza (open 24 hours). Please note that an access card is required to gain entry and exact change is needed to operate the machines. Laundry detergent/fabric softener is available for purchase at the Front desk.

DO YOU HAVE DRY CLEANING SERVICES?

Same day service is available Monday – Saturday (No service on and Statutory Holidays). Please drop off your dry cleaning at the Front desk before 8:00 am along with the completed forms or request for a suitable time for pick up.

WHAT IS YOUR BIKE STORAGE POLICY?

Bikes cannot be stored inside your suite. Our front office team can issue a key for the bike room located in P5; however, you must bring your own locking device.

CAN I SMOKE ON THE BALCONIES?

No. 100% Non-smoking Policy: Smoking (including non-tobacco products) is not allowed in any of the suites or balconies. A cleaning fee of $250 will be charged for each violation

HOW DO I GET TO YOUR PARKADE?

Our parkade entrance is accessed through the back lane (between Bute and Thurlow)

HOW MUCH WILL PARKING COST?

Daily cost is $38 (taxes included) with in-and-out privileges. Please note that the maximum clearance height is 6’ – OVER HEIGHT PARKING IS NOT AVAILABLE.

WHAT ARE YOUR PARKING INSTRUCTIONS?

  • Enter the 1128 /1166 ALBERNI parkade entrance via the back lane (between Alberni & Robson)
  • Proceed down 2 levels (P1 & P2 GREEN ZONES) until you reach the crossover section
  • GO STRAIGHT TO ENTER THE P1 BLUE ZONE & park in the 15-minute guest spots on your left.
  • Take the 1128 ALBERNI STREET elevator to G (for hotel lobby) and walk through the courtyard to reach the lobby. Obtain the parking pass & access card from the front desk.
  • Go back to your vehicle to DISPLAY THE PARKING PASS ON YOUR DASHBOARD and then proceed down the parking levels until you reach the white locked gate in P3.
  • Scan the access card on the reader, then PARK IN A NON-RESERVED STALL ONLY (P4 & P5 levels).

WHAT’S THE TYPICAL TAXI COST FROM YVR AIRPORT?

Taxi companies operating out of YVR have implemented guaranteed zone fares. For Downtown Vancouver, the fee will be CAD $35 (does not include gratuities) – their designated stands are located on Level 2 of the Domestic and International Arrivals Area.

FROM THE AIRPORT, WHICH TRANSIT STOP SHOULD I DISEMBARK FROM?

From YVR Airport, take the Canada Line disembark at Vancouver City Center station (6 blocks away).

DO YOU HAVE ACCESSIBLE SUITES?

Yes, we do have accessible suites – please contact us directly for more information.

DO YOU HAVE A RESTAURANT?

Although we don`t have a restaurant, we are located in the Alberni District and surrounded by a variety of restaurants and cafes.

DO YOU HAVE A POOL?

No, we do not have a pool; however, the following pools are located nearby and offer drop-ins:

DO YOU HAVE A GYM?

Yes. Our exercise room is located on the 3rd floor and is open from 6:00am to 12:00 midnight.

IS WI-FI INCLUDED?

Yes. Complimentary Wi-Fi access is available in your suite and all public areas. Log-in instructions and password may be obtained through the Front Desk upon check-in.

DO YOU HAVE A BOARD ROOM WE CAN BOOK?

Yes. Located on the 3rd floor, our meeting room is ideal for small boardroom meetings and training/workshop sessions. For pricing and additional information: Meeting Room Info.

WHAT’S THE ELECTRIC CURRENT IN EACH SUITE?

110 volts – adapters are available at the Front desk. A deposit of CAD 20.00 plus tax is required but refundable upon return of the item.

CAN I REQUEST FOR A SUITE WITH A BALCONY, VIEWS OF ENGLISH BAY OR NORTH SHORE MOUNTAINS?

Due to the high number of requests for suites with balconies (which are very limited) and/or a specific preferred view (English Bay or North Shore Mountains), we cannot guarantee that these requests will be granted; however, be assured that we will try our best to accommodate them.

WHY DO YOU USE “REAL” KEYS?

There’s something tactile about holding a set of keys in your hands – so whether you’re with us on vacation or on business, think of it as little reminder of “home”.
